Structural Engineer (Refer to Job #11-ENG-09)

Entry- to midlevel structural engineer needed in our Houston branch office to design and prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for concrete structures in the waterfront, marine, and offshore environment.

Position requires:

  • BSCE; MSCE preferred
  • Minimum 3 to 10 years design experience or graduate degree
  • EIT; PE preferred
  • Desire to learn engineering methodology and be mentored by experienced engineers
  • Solid team player
  • Strong communication skills

Structural Waterfront Project Engineer (Refer to Job #11-ENG-08)

Position available for a Structural Waterfront Project Engineer with progressively responsible design experience in waterfront/marine structures including piers, wharves, terminals, and related facilities. Our projects are located in the Gulf Coast, Central/South America, and other domestic and international locations.

Project Engineers participate in technical development of junior engineers, proposal preparation, client-focused sales efforts, and project interviews through the delivery of the final project package. The successful candidate will team with a diverse group of high-performing professionals, take on new challenges, and follow the career path that utilizes your strengths and interests. You will hit the ground running, work on important projects, and interact with industry-leading experts from day one. Experience with Gulf Coast port authority administrations, energy infrastructure, liquid bulk terminals and other related projects strongly considered.

Position requires:

  • PE license, SE license preferred
  • Minimum 10 years design experience
  • BSCE, MSCE preferred
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and train staff
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Structural Port and Marine Engineer (Refer to Job #11-ENG-07)

Position available for an entry- to mid-level structural engineer for our International Port and Terminals department. The ideal candidate has design experience in waterfront/marine structures including piers, wharves, terminals, and related project facilities. Department projects are located in the U.S. Northwest and Gulf Coast areas, Central and South America, and other domestic and international locations.

Position requires:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish (speaking/reading/writing)
  • 1 to 5 years design experience
  • BSCE
  • EIT, PE preferred
  • Desire to learn engineering methodology, and be mentored by experienced engineers
  • Strong written and oral communication ability

Structural Special Projects Engineer(Refer to Job #11-ENG-04)

Position available for a mid-level structural design engineer to work on special projects. The ideal candidate has progressive design and analysis experience in building seismic design, bridges, parking structures, transit facilities, or a combination of these project types. The candidate will work on project teams to solve technical problems through high-level structural analysis, new materials, and innovative solutions.

The engineer will be responsible for meeting project schedules and budgets; providing project deliverables; supervising the assignments of junior engineers and technicians; participating in proposal preparation and interviews; and building client relationships.

Position requires:

  • 5 to 15 years of structural design experience
  • MSCE; PhD preferred
  • PE license required; SE license preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable building and bridge codes
  • Competency in SAP, STRUDL, ANSYS, or similar software
  • Strong written and oral communication ability
